Emaar Malls Group, the shopping malls subsidiary of Emaar Properties, is developing a new mall in the Dubai Marina.
A premier retail and leisure destination, the Dubai Marina Mall is part of a complex comprising The Address, a seven-storey Gourmet Tower dedicated to diverse cuisine; and Marina Plaza, a commercial tower that has been launched to overwhelming customer response.
With 390,000 sq ft of leasable area over four levels, the mall will feature 160 stores dedicated to the upscale lifestyle and entertainment needs of Dubai Marina residents and visitors. The mall has 2,100 covered car parking spaces.
The mall’s general manager Ian Ferguson said: “The mall will be a superb value addition to Dubai’s vibrant retail environment and will offer several shopping options in a mall that celebrates its waterfront location.
“Dubai Marina is a vibrant master-planned community and a world-class retail destination that will enhance the convenience of residents and appeal to visitors who already enjoy the unique ambience offered by the marina and the Marina Walk retail centre.
“In line with our philosophy of integrating shopping and leisure attractions in mall developments, the mall will also feature a six-screen cineplex, and has a promenade of cafes and restaurants within a unique architectural circular glass atrium thus maximising the advantage of its waterfront location. The Gourmet Tower, accessible through a pedestrian bridge, will add to the dining out options.”
The Address, Dubai Marina, is a five-star premium hotel and also features 440 luxury serviced apartments. The Marina Plaza is a 28-storey boutique commercial tower offering modern business amenities in a waterfront location.
Dubai Marina is the first and largest of its kind waterfront development in the region by Emaar Properties, and is spread over 50 million sq ft. Featuring 3.5km of waterfront, Dubai Marina comprises 10 districts, each developed as a distinct community. – TradeArabia News Service
